Admission Overview

Sri Saradha College for Women follows a transparent, merit-based, and student-friendly admission process. The college welcomes applications from young women who aspire to excel academically and build a strong foundation for their future careers. Admissions are offered strictly as per Bharathidasan University norms, Government of Tamil Nadu regulations and institutional guidelines.

We ensure that every eligible student receives equal opportunity to pursue higher education in a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment.

Admission Procedure (Step-by-Step)

1 Issue of Application Form

Application forms are available at the College Office or can be downloaded from the website. Forms should be filled carefully with accurate personal and academic details.

2 Submission of Application

Submit the completed application form along with required documents. Incomplete or incorrect applications may be rejected.
 

3 Verification of Certificates

Original certificates will be verified by the Admission Committee. Applicants must appear in person with their parent/guardian.

4 Selection Process

Selection is purely on merit based on qualifying examination marks. Reservation norms of the Government of Tamil Nadu will be strictly followed.

5 Admission Confirmation

Selected candidates will receive an Admission Intimation. They must pay the prescribed fees within the given time to confirm the seat.

6 Orientation Programme

After admission, students will attend the Orientation Programme to understand academic policies, rules, and campus life.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria for admission:

Undergraduate Programmes (UG)

  • A pass in Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) from a recognized board.
  • Subject combinations and eligibility norms as per Bharathidasan University regulations.
  • Students must produce Transfer Certificate (TC) and Conduct Certificate.
  • Minimum aggregate percentage varies by programme.

Postgraduate Programmes (PG)

  • A Bachelor's Degree in the relevant field from a recognized university.
  • Minimum aggregate percentage as prescribed by Bharathidasan University.
  • Provisional / Degree Certificate must be provided at the time of admission.
  • Some programmes may require entrance tests/interviews.

Fee Structure & Payment Guidelines

  • Fees must be paid at the College Office or through approved digital payment modes.
  • Receipts must be preserved for future reference.
  • Students failing to pay fees within due dates may face cancellation of admission.
