Internal Complaints Committee

Overview

Various workshops will be held to sensitize all members, regardless of gender, in order to promote gender awareness inside the college and foster a peaceful environment on campus.

Objectives

  • Educate the public about the Supreme Court's rulings and make the college's zero-tolerance policy regarding sexual harassment a standard.
  • To provide a socially and physically secure environment in order to deter sexual harassment events.
  • To foster an atmosphere free from prejudice based on gender.
  • To create thorough standards and recommendations for a policy against sexual harassment.
  • To create and put into practice guidelines and policies for efficiently handling sexual harassment cases.
  • To plan initiatives for gender sensitization and awareness.
  • To host seminars and guest lectures with the goal of empowering female members by providing them with information about different leadership development opportunities.

Internal Complaints Committee Role & Responsibilities

  • Promote women's rights and give them a sense of purpose, enthusiasm, and knowledge. Plan events centered around the empowerment of women.
  • Provide a mechanism for reporting allegations of sexual harassment from female students, non-teaching staff, and teaching staff to any branch or department of our university.
  • Regardless of gender, address and resolve sexual harassment-related issues inside our organization.
