Overview
The Department of History was started in 2018. This program is affiliated with Bharathidasan University, Thiruchirappalli. The curriculum introduces students to historical methodology and the fundamentals of historical research and writing.
The Department of History Provide an environment in which all who study here can thrive and achieve their potential and do the best to the society. The Department also provides a distinctive education of awareness about the differing political, cultural, social and economic structures of the Past and how they interrelate with present scenarios. Student can also study History of Tamil Nadu, Indian History, European History, American History, History of the Arabs and International relations in elaborate manner. Students are also encouraged to adopt various extra Credit Courses to enrich their Knowledge in different field.
